Moisturizers improve the skin’s natural moisture barrier. Liftnglow’s moisturizers go even further by sending messages deep into the skin’s surface, coaxing a damaged barrier into recovery mode. We call these “smart moisturizers”. They do more than create an occlusive barrier the way old-fashioned moisturizers have worked for centuries. Liftnglow skincare doesn’t believe in mixing sunscreen with moisturizers, so you won’t find any SPFs here.
Why not? Sunscreens are dose-dependent drugs that require a specific amount to achieve the promised SPF. This amount is the length of two fingers each filled with a line of sunscreen. Since most clients won’t apply this much moisturizer (nor should they) we offer our sunscreen separately. That way, they’ll be sure to get the full protection.
